National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula led members of parliament in paying emotional tributes to the late Ol Kalou MP David Kiaraho, describing him as “a dedicated legislator who served with diligence.”
MPs from across the political divide shared memories of Kiaraho, highlighting his commitment to constituency development and his reputation as a consensus builder.
Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi described Kiaraho as “a rare breed in Kenyan politics — a man who put service above self.”
The Speaker adjourned the sitting early as a mark of respect and announced the National Assembly flag would fly at half-mast until after the burial.
