Detectives in Nakuru are seeking public assistance following the discovery of a 23-year-old man’s body outside a nightclub in the town’s central business district.
Benard Mugambi’s body was found near the main entrance of the entertainment venue in the early hours of Saturday morning with visible injuries. Preliminary reports indicate he may have been involved in an altercation before his death.
Nakuru County Police Commander Sarah Kimani urged anyone with information to come forward. “We have secured CCTV footage from surrounding businesses and are following several leads,” she said.
Mugambi’s family described him as a hardworking young man pursuing a diploma in electrical engineering. His death adds to growing concerns about nightlife safety in Nakuru, with community leaders calling for enhanced security measures at entertainment venues.
